Led by a retired Navy SEAL Commander and backed by BTB Fellows actively transitioning, our team boasts global experience in high-stakes environments, spanning military and civilian sectors. Our board of directors consists of former Navy SEALs and dedicated patriots deeply committed to the ongoing success of our nation’s elite warriors beyond their service.

Jimmy is a retired Navy SEAL Commander with 22 years of service. He developed and teaches curriculums on combat leadership to all SEAL Chiefs and OICs and Combat Ethics to the Naval Special Warfare Community and the Navy JAG community. Commander May has seven deployments to the middle east and has experience working across the globe in high-stakes situations to find common ground across a wide array of conflict scenarios. He completed his undergraduate work at Texas A&M and post-graduation studies at Harvard as an alumni of the Program for Leadership Development. Jimmy is CEO of Sushi Assassin, an in-home sushi catering business for private events and recently started Mayday Executive Services to help companies develop camaraderie and unit cohesion through shared intense experiences. He serves as CEO and a board member of Beyond the Brotherhood, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Navy SEALS of character transition out of the military to find their next mission and sought after as a keynote speaker for events across a wide variety of organizations. Jimmy is fluent in Arabic, an avid spear fisherman, surfer, martial artist and amateur bee-keeper. He resides in Ocean Beach, San Diego with his family and is dedicated to paying forward the kindness and opportunity that he is blessed to have received.

Sean Murphy, a retired Navy SEAL with 22 years of distinguished service, leverages his extensive field experience as the Executive Director of Beyond The Brotherhood, a nonprofit dedicated to aiding transitioning Navy SEALs. Throughout his career, Sean has been stationed globally, where he absorbed and applied knowledge from elite professionals. His proven leadership and adeptness in managing high-pressure situations have enabled him to achieve collective objectives with diverse teams effectively. Beyond his military accomplishments, Sean has founded two innovative companies: Trivet LLC, which provides specialized ankle strengthening devices, and Hit The Surf (HTS LLC), which focuses on team building and leadership development for various organizations. Sean’s endeavors aim to merge the pinnacle of military excellence with its civilian counterpart, ensuring seamless transitions for elite veterans. Prioritizing family and community, Sean enjoys spending his leisure time engaging in outdoor activities, swimming, and cherishing moments with his wife and two children, reinforcing his commitment to personal and professional growth within and beyond the community.

Drew served as a Navy SEAL Chief Warrant Officer and retired after 22 years of service. During his final tour, Drew orchestrated the year-long training cycles for special-mission, undersea SEAL Teams. Chief Warrant Officer Forsberg has six deployments to the middle east and southeast Asia and has an array of awards including six Navy Commendation Medals. He has experience working across the world in high-stakes situations to find common ground across a wide array of conflict scenarios.
He completed his undergraduate work at Excelsior College, completed Executive education studies at Columbia, Cornell, University of Texas-Austin and University of Michigan as well as the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Texas A&M. Drew plans to remain in Hawaii after retirement and is currently developing business strategies to assist his wife with launching a freelance hair and makeup business, optimize a friend’s edible landscaping business, and also pursue his own MBA.
Drew is an avid surfer, spear fisherman, martial artist, permaculturist, and Sunday school teacher. He resides in Waialua on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii with his wife and four homeschooled children. He is devoted to leaving this world a better place than before he arrived.

Steve is an American Entrepreneur, NCAA Champion, and the youngest advisor to the President of the United States to be appointed to the National Infrastructure Advisory Council. Mr. Gatena serves as the Founder & CEO of PRAY.COM, the world’s #1 app for daily prayer and faith-based audio content. Before PRAY.COM, Steve was the CEO of Helinet, a global leader in rotorcraft, providing helicopter surveillance, transport, and video solutions to various markets, including Law Enforcement, Healthcare, and Broadcast Television. He is a Los Angeles native with a Master’s degree from the University of Southern California.

Greg McClelland serves as the Executive Director of the Western Steel Council, representing an
influential association of over 50 steel fabricators, placers, and erectors across California,
Nevada, and Arizona. With more than three decades of experience in steel construction, Greg
brings invaluable expertise to the Ironworker construction industry. A dedicated advocate for
workplace health and safety, he has chaired numerous construction safety committees,
stakeholder roundtables, and advisory groups, fostering industry standards and best practices.
In addition to his executive role, Greg plays a critical part in managing significant financial
assets as a management chair and trustee of both the California Field Ironworker Trust Funds and
the Shop Ironworker Trust Funds, overseeing over $5 billion in assets.
Outside of his professional commitments, Greg is an avid outdoorsman and sportsman, finding
balance and inspiration in nature. His passion for the outdoors fuels his dedication to leadership,
camaraderie and fellowship with his nonprofit work, and the advancement of veteran support.
Jocko Willink

Jocko is an American Businessman, Author, Martial Artist, Patriot and retired SEAL Officer.
He enlisted in the Navy at age 18 and graduated from BUD/s class 177. He then served at SEAL Team One until he received his commission. As an Officer, Jocko served at SEAL Teams Two, Seven, and Three, and finished his twenty-year career as the Officer in Charge of the Training Detachment for the West Coast SEAL Teams. He received the Silver Star and the Bronze Star with Valor and other personal and unit awards.
Beyond his Navy career, he owns Victory MMA, (a martial arts gym in San Diego), founded and runs the consulting business Echelon Front, has multiple top-rated podcasts, is a partner at Origin – a clothing and jiu jitsu line dedicated to bringing industry back to the United States, and he is a founder and owner of Jocko Fuel, a nutrition supplement brand. He has written multiple best-selling books on leadership as well as several children’s books. Jocko enjoys surfing, jiu-jitsu, bow hunting, giving back to the SEAL Community, and spending time with his family.

Giovanni (Gio) Coglitore is a distinguished entrepreneur and technology leader with a notable career in the fields of computing and data storage. Born in Messina, Sicily, and later moving to the United States, Gio faced early adversity but was raised in a loving home by his maternal grandparents. He is the founder and CEO of RStor, a company specializing in cloud-based data mobility solutions, and has co-founded Rackable Systems and Optical Archive.
Gio has held prominent senior leadership positions at Sony and Facebook, contributing to major technological advancements, and played a significant role in the Open Compute Project, advocating for open-source hardware innovation. His career highlights include developing the RStor Multicloud Platform™ and pioneering solutions for high-performance computing and modern data center architecture. With numerous patents to his name, Gio’s contributions have significantly advanced the technology landscape, embodying the spirit of innovation and resilience from his early days in Sicily to his remarkable career in the United States.

Sameer Gupta is the Head of Data Solutions at Point72 and the New York Mets, where he has pioneered cloud-native data, analytics, and AI capabilities. With a rich history at Point72, he has led various data-focused teams and initiatives. Before Point72, he was the COO at AI startup iSentium and held significant roles at JPMorgan, NYSE Technologies, and Goldman Sachs, showcasing his expertise in technology strategy and operations. Sameer also serves as a senior advisor for Cypher Accelerator at the Wharton School, supporting Blockchain and AI startups. He holds an MBA from Harvard, an M.S. from Carnegie Mellon, and a B.S. in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology in India.

Keith Eckert is an ultra runner and endurance athlete who’s raised close to $400,000 for veteran and first responder non-profit organizations. He’s a 2014 graduate of the United States Naval Academy where he majored in Political Science and was a member of the wrestling team. After being medically discharged from the Navy in 2016, he picked up ultra racing. Since that time, he’s completed: multiple 100 mile races, an additional 2 races between 200 and 250 miles, 2 successful completions of the Iditarod Trail Invitational 350 – which is a 350 mile trek through the Alaskan wilderness, as well as 2 unsuccessful attempts of the Iditarod Trail Invitational 1000 which is a 1000 mile trek through the Alaskan wilderness. He has also participated in a 16 mile open water swim that he completed in 9 hours and was a member of a finishing 2022 Race Across America Cycling team. When he’s not racing he works for Global Support and Development, a Humanitarian Disaster Response Non Profit Organization.
