Drew Forsberg is the Executive Director of Beyond the Brotherhood and a retired U.S. Navy SEAL Chief Warrant Officer with 22 years of operational and leadership experience. He has led elite teams in high-stakes environments and now applies that same discipline and mission-focused mindset to veteran advocacy, nonprofit operations, and executive leadership. With a background in logistics, strategy, and organizational development, Drew oversees all aspects of Beyond the Brotherhood's programs, partnerships, and growth initiatives. He is also a seasoned public speaker and consultant, known for translating the principles of special operations into leadership frameworks for businesses, nonprofits, and those embarking on their next mission. His hands-on approach, combined with a commitment to integrity and service, makes him a driving force behind the organization's impact and expansion.

Rich Winger is the Event Coordinator for Beyond the Brotherhood, leveraging 8+ years of Navy SEAL leadership and operational excellence to design and execute high-impact events that build purpose, foster camaraderie, and support SEALs entering civilian life. His experience with training large teams and managing complex logistics ensures every event is mission-ready, from planning and coordination to flawless execution. He is driven to create immersive, values-based experiences that unite proven warriors with business leaders, fueling fellowship and making real, lasting impact beyond the battlefield.

Pedro "PJ" Ramirez IV

Pedro "PJ" Ramirez IV

Chief of Staff

Pedro Ramirez is a former U.S. Navy SEAL and mission-driven leader dedicated to transforming how elite veterans move from service to significance. As a driving force behind Beyond the Brotherhood (BTB), he builds high trust partnerships between the special operations and private sectors, helping SEAL veterans find purpose, opportunity, and community beyond the uniform. Known for his clarity under pressure, strategic foresight, and authentic leadership, Pedro excels at turning complex missions into scalable systems. His work blends operational precision with entrepreneurial vision, driving growth, sponsorships, and brand alignment for impact-focused organizations. Pedro's potential lies at the intersection of strategy, influence, and execution. He's building movements, not just missions, that elevate people and purpose alike.

Jocko Willink

Jocko Willink

Jocko is a retired U.S. Navy SEAL officer, bestselling author, and leadership consultant. After 20 years of service, including combat deployments with SEAL Team 3, he co-founded Echelon Front, a leadership and management consulting firm. Jocko is also the host of the top-ranked Jocko Podcast and co-author of Extreme Ownership and The Dichotomy of Leadership. Through his work, he equips leaders across industries with lessons forged in combat, discipline, accountability, and humility, that align directly with BTB's mission to prepare SEALs for success beyond the Teams.

Jimmy May is a retired Navy SEAL and the visionary Founder, CEO, and Chairman of Beyond the Brotherhood. After two decades in uniform, he launched BTB to bridge the gap for SEALs moving from military service to meaningful civilian leadership. Jimmy architected BTB's unique fellowship model, grounded in purpose, community, and goals, and drives its strategic growth, partner development, and mission integrity. With deep operational experience, a heart for service, and a relentless commitment to his Brothers, Jimmy ensures BTB remains a force multiplier for America's elite warriors.

Sean Murphy

Sean Murphy is a decorated U.S. Navy SEAL veteran whose operational leadership spans two decades across global deployments. After retiring from active duty, Sean pivoted into strategic nonprofit management and veteran transition advocacy, serving as Executive Director of Beyond the Brotherhood. His insight into high-performance team dynamics and resilience-building informed the early structure and culture of BTB. Sean remains a vital ally as an honorary advisor, guiding network development and helping ensure the Brotherhood's continuity. His legacy stands as a tribute to strength, responsibility, and leadership, values that continue to shape BTB's mission and impact.

Steve Gatena is the Founder & CEO of Pray.com, the world's #1 app for faith-based audio and podcasts, serving more than 18 million people worldwide. A serial entrepreneur and former NCAA athlete, Steve has built successful companies across media, advertising, and technology, including REP Interactive, VideoFort, and Helinet. Recognized by outlets like Fortune and the Los Angeles Business Journal, he has also advised the White House on cybersecurity and serves as an Industry Advisor at USC Annenberg. At BTB, Steve brings his expertise in brand building, faith-rooted leadership, and strategic growth to ensure the organization scales its impact while staying true to its mission of serving Navy SEALs.

Giovanni (Gio) Coglitore

Giovanni (Gio) Coglitore

Gio Coglitore is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor at the forefront of tech and enterprise infrastructure. Gio also owns Cavalli Estates, a premier vineyard and event space in California. Drawing on his early experience as one of Facebook's first employees, Gio brings his network to help scale digital platforms and harness technology for mission-driven growth. At BTB, his contributions help shape digital strategy, operational scalability, and strategic partner development, empowering Fellows with forward-looking systems tailored for their next mission beyond the Teams.

Greg McClelland

Greg McClelland

Treasurer

Greg is Executive Director of the Western Steel Council, representing over 50 steel fabricators, placers, and erectors across California, Nevada, and Arizona. With three decades of experience in construction and industrial safety, he also serves as Trustee and Management Chair for the California Field Ironworker and Shop Ironworker Trust Funds, overseeing more than $5 billion in assets. A committed outdoorsman, Greg advocates for veteran support through community, camaraderie, and kinship, aligning deeply with BTB's commitment to purpose-driven networks.

Ed Machoskie

Ed Machoskie

Ed brings 30+ years of experience in financial services and residential real estate sales, with a strong track record in structuring complex transactions. A skilled negotiator, he specializes in high-value real estate deals, leveraging his expertise and contacts to create strategic opportunities for his clients. A Maryland native and longtime Newport Beach resident, Ed is known for his honesty, integrity, and building long-term relationships. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing with friends and spending quality time with his wife, Katie, and their four amazing children.
